Ultrasound

I had another ultrasound today to get the rest of the pictures of the heart they still needed. I thought that it would be a quick one, but the tech went through and looked at everything again. The baby is measuring right on schedule and weighs 2 pounds already! We got some great pictures of her face and she is already getting chubby cheeks. It is amazing how much they change each time. We are getting so excited to meet her (they said she was still a girl for sure)!

Rochester Baby Shower

This week we traveled home to Rochester, MN. On Sunday, we had a baby shower at my parents' house. We did an afternoon party with lots of yummy desserts. It was so great to celebrate such a special occasion with friends and family. Of course, our little girl was completely spoiled and got many wonderful gifts. I am home today washing new clothes and putting everything away. So much fun!!

Crib is Here!

We picked up our crib yesterday and put it together. I love it! It looks black in the picture, but it's actually dark brown (espresso). We have to wait for 10-12 weeks before we get the dresser. But that's OK, I got a great deal and it's worth the wait. The room is starting to look like a nursery! Now I am getting the decorating bug. Jesse beware!

21 Weeks and 3 Days

Here is my most current belly shot. I feel like I am getting big...even though people can't believe it when I tell them how far along I am! When I ordered my crib this weekend, the lady even asked if it was for me!! I am now feeling the baby kick all the time. She went from a ballet dancer to a soccer player in a matter of days! Jesse even got to feel two good kicks last night! I ordered the crib and dresser this weekend and hope to order the bedding soon as well. I am so excited to get going on the nursery. When I was 20 weeks I thought, OK...I have 20 weeks to get this all done. Then when I hit 21 weeks and only had 19 weeks left, my panic set it! I finished my registry this weekend and had lots of fun doing it. Feel free to check it out at Babies-R-Us and Target and tell me what I am missing!

Doctor's Appointment

I had my monthly check up today. Everything went great! She had a chance to look over my anatomy scan and said that everything looked wonderful. I asked her if she was SURE it was a girl, and she assured me that it was. She said that she has never been wrong before and that it was one of her biggest fears to tell the parents the wrong gender. We also got the 2nd set of results back from our Sequential Scan. These results mirrored the 1st set as "perfect". I feel so blessed to have such a healthy baby. You could drive yourself crazy with stress and worry. Babies heart rate was 158 and she was moving all over the place! I am getting ready to start registering next week. Now the fun begins! Of course the first thing I plan to buy is a little outfit =).
